Joseon Dancheong 3-tier umbrella (UV protection)

Dancheong is a pattern drawn in various colos on traditional Korean wooden buildings.

Functionally, it plays a role in preventing trees from rotting in the rain and wind.

Based on the five elements, the colors of yellow, red, blue, white and black are mainly painted,

and patterns are drawn according to certain rules.

The package, which takes motifs from the old Korean roof tiles, engraved "Bok(Lucky)" Chinese characters.

Story

Hundreds of thousands of Koreans and foreigners who visit Seoul's ancient palaces every year in 2000, the cultural history city of Seoul, have made Dancheong umbrellas as a link to remind them of their memories and feelings on their trip even when they return home.

The umbrella resembles the roof of the old palace, a traditional Korean building.

The Dancheong pattern is engraved on the end of the umbrella, reminding me of the moment when I traveled under the eaves of Gyeongbokgung Palace every time I use the Dancheong umbrella
